Water Hall Project (2006)
Luxury bathroom for Ramón Soler
This project, carried out for Ramón Soler, a faucet manufacturer, was born from a very specific commission: to design a luxury bathroom capable of combining sophisticated materials with simpler ones, achieving a balanced, timeless and serene result.
Shower area: microcement and jewel pieces
The shower area is conceived as a single continuous volume clad in microcement, wrapping walls and surfaces to reinforce the feeling of unity. Double showers equipped with thermostatic taps from the Termoiliada SW collection by Ramón Soler are proposed, a series that incorporates elegant CRISTALLIZEDTM – Swarovski Elements pieces in each tap.
The showers are completed with large shower heads by Ramón Soler, with a characteristic star-shaped design (see detail in the attached image).
Washbasin area: purity and reflections
In the washbasin area, two grey porcelain washbasins are proposed, supported on brick shelves, also covered in microcement. The taps, recessed into the wall, belong to the Iliada SW collection by Ramón Soler, also with CRISTALLIZEDTM – Swarovski Elements.
With Iliada SW and Termoiliada SW, Ramón Soler’s refined design and high technology are joined by the added value of glass, which ennobles the pieces with a play of reflections, transparencies and a sophisticated presence. The combination of steel and glass defines a spectacular, elegant and timeless tap, capable of integrating into both sober and minimalist environments and more classic and glamorous spaces.
The mirrors are antique and the towels, made of thread, reinforce that idea of serene luxury, with authentic details.
Textiles, wood and a colour accent
The central rug, in the shape of a circumference, organizes the space. The floor is made of solid oak flooring, providing warmth and a noble base to the whole. A chaise longue upholstered in red and white damask velvet introduces chromatic counterpoint, elevating the atmosphere with an elegant and theatrical gesture.
Bathtub area: relaxation and glamour
For the bathtub, a cast piece is chosen, accompanied by freestanding columns and taps by Ramón Soler. It is an area designed for rest, ritual and glamour, within a refined and absolutely elegant environment.
Combining the classic and the avant-garde is, here, the key to achieving a truly timeless atmosphere.
Lighting and final details
On the windows, roller blinds are combined with dark grey velvet curtains, with a large drop, lined with matching thread. The electrical mechanisms belong to Fontini’s 1950 collection. The lighting is solved with lamps and spotlights from Lumen’s, and an LED perimeter on the ceiling that frames the space with an enveloping light.
