has received the 2013 Red Dot International Design Award in the“product design” category for its innovative range of electrical mechanisms ASYMMETRICAL GRAPHITE.

The Red Dot Awards gala will be held on July 1, 2013 in Essen, Germany, and more than 1,200 guests from the worlds of design, industry and society will attend.

The electrical mechanisms Asymmetrical Graphite of Font Barcelona will be exhibited during a special exhibition (2 – 28 July 2013) at the Red Dot design museum in Essen.

The Red Dot Award is one of the most prestigious design awards internationally. In the 2013 edition, the 37-member jury of experts had to discuss a total of 4,662 proposals submitted in 19 different categories, the largest amount received in the history of the contest.
