Barasona Diseño y Comunicación is committed to sustainability in construction, and for this reason could not miss the III Biennale of Sustainable Architecture, which was held in Barcelona on Thursday, November 15 in the auditorium of a building as emblematic as La Pedrera , by the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí.
During the day, a round table was held that featured the main managers of institutions in the sector such as the Superior Council of Architects’ Colleges of Spain or the Colleges of Architects of Madrid and Barcelona, among others and the 12 were presented most iconic Sustainable Architecture projects of the last two years. The architects responsible for each of these projects explained to the event attendees the peculiarities of the sustainable strategies used in them and how they have managed to carry out environmentally friendly construction models.
Attendees were also able to enjoy the exhibition of the models and panels of the 12 projects. Among the national projects that generated greater expectation are the Solar Hemiciclo of Ruiz Larrea & Asociados, a rental housing building located in Móstoles, and the Tripark Las Rozas de Allende Arquitectos, the first complex Spain that has obtained the LEED GOLD energy efficiency certification.
