The Fitur edition hosts two key hotel appointments with technology, innovation and the environment: Fiturtech and Fitugreen

The International Fair IFEMA, will celebrate its 33rd edition in Madrid from 30 January to 3 February 2013, with a wide representation of the international tourism sector.

The Fair will organize an agenda of trade meetings between participants and international buyers, with special attention to high potential markets such as Latin America, Asia and Africa.

The event, which, as is traditional, inaugurates the international dating circuit of the travel sector, will present different projects focused on energizing the business of the tourism industry.

Aware that there is no tourism without sustainability, the Fair convenes a new edition of FITURGREEN, which reinforces its contents in terms of energy savings and efficiency in hotel management. Also, to respond to the demand of the sector and travelers, a new edition of the FITURTECH monograph is presented, which under the title Next Travel Generation will provide the latest developments in the field of technology applied to tourism.

Within the framework of the conferences, issues such as energy services companies and the hotel sector will be discussed; the cost-effectiveness of energy certification for a hotel, or case studies as the best way to sell a sustainable hotel.

The last edition of the Fair brought together 210,877 participants and 9,506 companies from 167 countries or regions.
