Casa Decor 2026 has closed its 61st edition after six weeks of creativity, encounter and inspiration at the Palacio de San Agustín 11, in the heart of Madrid’s Barrio de las Letras. A particularly significant edition for Barasona Diseño y Comunicación, which has participated in designing Ofuro, the ramonsoler Group space, located on the first floor of the exhibition.

This year’s edition bids farewell with figures that confirm, once again, the strength of Casa Decor as a great platform for design and interior design in Spain: 41,613 visitors, 240 participants, 47 spaces, 2,000 m² intervened, 127 events, 421 accredited journalists and 1,824 news published. A real success in terms of turnout, impact and visibility for brands, professionals, interior designers, architects, media and design lovers.

For our studio it has been a very special experience to be part of this edition with Ofuro, a project designed by Carmen Barasona for ramonsoler Group. Inspired by the Japanese tradition of ritual bathing, the space has proposed a leisurely and sensory look at the contemporary bathroom, understood not only as a functional place, but as a refuge of well-being, matter, water, light and contemplation.

Ofuro has been conceived as an immersive experience, where interior architecture, volumes, lighting, reflections, wood, stone and brushed copper finish dialogue to create an intimate and serene atmosphere. The project has made it possible to show the ramonsoler Group’s comprehensive vision for the contemporary bathroom, incorporating taps, hydrotherapy, bathroom accessories, washbasins, sanitary ware and solutions designed to build coherent, functional and emotionally connected spaces.

We are very happy for the reception that the space has had during these weeks and deeply grateful to all the people who have come to visit it, share it, comment on it and live it. Thanks to Casa Decor for creating, edition after edition, a unique setting for design, innovation and creativity. Thanks also to ramonsoler Group for trusting Barasona Diseño y Comunicación to develop this project, and to all the collaborators who have contributed to giving shape, material, light and atmosphere to Ofuro.

Casa Decor 2026 closes its doors, but it leaves us with an unforgettable experience, many conversations, new professional connections and the satisfaction of having been part of an edition of great impact. For Barasona Design and Communication, Ofuro has been much more than an exhibition space: it has been an opportunity to tell a story from the interior design, to transform the bathroom into a sensory experience and to continue exploring the capacity of design to excite, communicate and last.
